A new group of five firefighters from Segovia, the third of these groups, left this Wednesday for Valencia to work in the streets of the towns affected by the DANA until Saturday, November 9, and to relieve their colleagues who arrived at the disaster area last Sunday. The presence of personnel from the city's fire department is part of the City Council's response to the situation in the Valencian Community, where rivers and ravines have overflowed, communication routes have been cut off and towns have been isolated, "causing considerable damage that has seriously affected people," according to the City Council. In the case of the Segovia firefighters, the work they have carried out so far has focused on clearing the streets of vehicles and mud, as well as working in basements and garages to extract accumulated water and search for the bodies of potential victims who may have been trapped there. For more click here  #ElAdelantado
